The front presents a powerful tusked elephant facing forward beneath an ornate headpiece, surrounded by curling cloud and flame-like forms. The reverse shows the elephant from behind, continuing the decorative border and giving the animal design a deliberate two-view composition.
Layered engraving separates skin folds, tusks, ears, ornaments, and surrounding scrollwork with strong depth. Antiquing settles into the carved areas while the raised brass surfaces stay bright, making the elephant stand out from both sides.
